Rolling Out, Boogying Down: Nelson, BC
EVENT:
thursDAY, december 20, 2012
A 70’s-inspired evening of bowling, boogie, twist + swingin’, Flor de Caña rum + good eats to help The Latitude Project on its way…It’s been a big year and a half for Alanna + Jenn and they couldn’t have done it with all the support of our friends + family… after Alanna’s accident, Jenn quit her job and moved home to be her caretaker… they both weren’t able to work and put them in a rough spot financially.
As Alanna continues to get stronger, they are traveling to Nicaragua to fulfill The Latitude Project’s next initiative in rural communities. They are throwing this party as a way of reaching out to you for help… the proceeds from this (ridiculously fun) evening will go toward helping them cover their costs of getting by while they are there. We’ll also have a raffle and auction with proceeds going directly into the project.Afros, knee high socks, short shorts, fanny packs encouraged.
$20 Advance Tickets include bowling, prizes, lots of food, and live music by DJ SweetP.
8:00-late, Thursday Dec 20, Savoy Lanes. Tickets will sell out, get ’em quick.
The Savoy Lanes doesn’t even know what’s coming…
A straight up boogie down with short shorts + strobe lights…
